Ex; Buffalo NY Sherriff Deputy Charged in Freemason Royal Order of Jesters Mann Act Case

Buffalo News Ex-deputy charged in Jesters case

June 09, 2010 By Dan Herbeck NEWS STAFF REPORTER

The ‘Jesters’ are an internal secret society of Freemason Shriners. All of Leaders of the Shrine are members of the Royal Order of Jesters according to biographical information previously contained on the Shriners International Website.

Royal Order of 'Jesters'

Federal prosecutors charged a former Erie County sheriff’s deputy with taking prostitutes across state lines five years ago to attend a convention of a fraternal club.

Michael Lesinski, who retired from police work in November 2008, is the latest person charged in a government probe into human-trafficking activities involving the Royal Order of Jesters.

Lesinski made arrangements for a limousine to transport at least a dozen prostitutes from Buffalo Niagara International Airport in Cheektowaga to a hotel in Niagara Falls, Ont., in April 2005, according to charges filed by the U. S. attorney’s office.

Niagara Falls was the site of a Jesters convention — known as a “book” — for Jesters from across the United States, FBI Special Agent Jennifer Amo said in court papers.

Bro. Mulroney’s actions -inappropriate- Bro. Oliphant says

Globe and Mail

Tuesday, Jun. 01, 2010

Greg McArthur and Daniel Leblanc Ottawa

Freemasons Brian Mulroney PC and Richard Wolson QC, Lead Oliphant ‘Inquiry’ Counsel

Former prime minister Brian Mulroney accepted cash-stuffed envelopes from Karlheinz Schreiber “as part of a scheme” to conceal the payments, a commission of inquiry has found. But after spending at least $14-million, listening to 39 days of testimony and reviewing 150,000 pages of evidence, the Oliphant inquiry couldn’t say what he did to earn it.

In a sometimes scathing examination of Mr. Mulroney’s acceptance of at least $225,000 in cash from the German-born, and now incarcerated, lobbyist, Mr. Justice Jeffrey Oliphant, the inquiry’s chair, repeatedly called Mr. Mulroney’s actions “inappropriate.” He described his own “skepticism” of the former prime minister’s explanation about the work he performed for the money, and called Mr. Mulroney’s explanation for his failure to disclose the payments during a court proceeding “patently absurd.”

Almost as soon as Judge Oliphant and his legal staff concluded their remarks to the media Monday, calls began for the government to recoup the $2.1-million that the Justice Department agreed to pay Mr. Mulroney’s lawyers and public-relations […]

Los Angeles, California (CNN) — CNN talk show host Larry King and his wife, Shawn King, each filed for divorce Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Court.

Shawn King’s lawyer did not immediately respond to CNN’s request for comment.

The documents said the couple separated on Tuesday, the same day Shawn King signed her papers. Larry King’s signature was dated Wednesday. Both petitions were filed Wednesday.

Each is asking that they not be ordered to pay spousal support to the other, and they both want the other to pay their attorney fees.

While his filing offers little detail about what marital property he will claim, her petition lists the Beverly Hills, California, home where the couple has resided for the past two years and two Utah houses.

Obama hints that “two-state solution” may be impossible

Remarks during arms negotiations show Obama administration’s uncertainty about peace in region

Wednesday, Apr 14, 2010 By Juan Cole

Freemason Barack Obama

President Barack Obama acknowledged Tuesday that, despite the expenditure of substantial political capital by his administration, progress may not be made on Israel-Palestine peace. The AP quoted his reply to a question about how recent successes in negotiating nuclear arms reduction with Russia — and getting 48 nations to sign on to a nuclear material security agreement — might translate into diplomatic successes elsewhere.

The two sides “may say to themselves, ‘We are not prepared to resolve these issues no matter how much pressure the United States brings to bear,’” Obama said.

Obama reiterated that peace is a vital goal, but one that may be beyond reach “even if we are applying all of our political capital.”

Top Turkish officers charged over ‘coup plot’

Turkey Military Parade Ground

Twenty military officers have been formally charged in Turkey with attempting to overthrow the government.

They include four admirals, a general and two colonels, some of them retired.

The men were among more than 40 officers arrested on Monday over an alleged 2003 plot to stir up chaos in Turkey and justify a military coup.

The head of the armed forces, General Ilker Basbug, will meet the country’s prime minister and president later to discuss the alleged plot and arrests.

The meeting was called after the country’s top generals and admirals met at short notice on Tuesday to evaluate what the military called a “serious situation”.

‘Sledgehammer’ plot?

The scale of Monday’s operation against the military was unprecedented and increased the tension between the government and the armed forces.

Dozens of current or former members of the military have been arrested in the past few years over similar plot allegations, and some have been charged.

Turkish military faces crossroads This is now turning into a critical test of the government’s authority over […]

Bro. Rajendra Pachauri’s U.N. IPCC meltdown

IPCC meltdown Finanacial Post

Vice-President Al Gore 'Cutting' A Secret Freemason Recognition Handsign

The Himalayan Glaciers will still be around in 2035, contrary to oft-repeated alarmist claims by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. Whether the IPCC’s head, Rajendra Pachauri, whose credibility is melting faster than the proverbial snowball in Hades, will make it to his next paycheque is another matter.

With Climategate still simmering and the collapse of Copenhagen reverberating, a fresh storm has blown up over the discovery that the IPCC’s claim that Himalayan glaciers were about to disappear is entirely bogus.

“If the present rate [of melting] continues,” said the IPCC’s Fourth Assessment Report in 2007, “the likelihood of them disappearing by the year 2035 and perhaps sooner is very high.”

There was no significant questioning of this claim until late last year, when the Indian government published a discussion paper that pointed out that there was in fact no sign of any “abnormal” retreat in the Himalayan glaciers. India’s environment minister Jairam Ramesh accused the IPCC of being “alarmist.”

Doing what he has traditionally done in such circumstances, Mr. Pachauri proceeded to smear the […]

'A Pillar of Mutual Support…'

An elderly arms dealer and lobbyist accused of playing a major role in a slush fund affair that plunged Germany’s Christian Democrats into chaos in the 1990s and set the chancellor, Angela Merkel, on the road to power, went on trial today for alleged fraud.

Karlheinz Schreiber, 75, who has joint Canadian and German citizenship, pleaded not guilty to charges of bribery, tax evasion and being an accessory to fraud, in a trial that is being watched closely by political and business communities, not least because of revelations he might make over who knew what about the funding scandal.

His friends and contacts with whom he famously shared a table at Munich’s Oktoberfest, included intelligence agents, state secretaries and arms manufacturers.

Prosecutor Marcus Paintinger told the court in Augsburg, southern Germany, that Schreiber had withheld €13.3m in taxes from the €32m commission he received from sales of Airbus aeroplanes to Thailand, helicopters to the Canadian coastguard, and […]

Michael Jackson’s Doctor Not Licensed to Prescribe Controlled Drugs in California By Jana Winter

According to federal drug regulations, Michael Jackson’s personal physician couldn’t legally prescribe even a powerful cough medicine for the King of Pop in California, and he couldn’t go to the pharmacy to get drugs for him, either.

Federal authorities told FOXNews.com that Dr. Conrad Murray is not licensed to administer certain levels of controlled medications in the state, and that if he gave Demerol or Oxycontin to Jackson, as has been reported, it would have been illegal.

To possess the drugs in California, Murray would have had to bring them with him from Nevada or Texas, which is illegal, or administer drugs that other doctors had provided locally or that Jackson had ordered online from abroad, which is also illegal.

Murray, a cardiologist who runs a practice in Las Vegas and another in Houston, makes house calls to high-profile clients in Sin City — and in Washington and New York.

Friends and former patients say his Zen-like manner, holistic approach to healing and Chopra-esque spirituality likely contributed […]

Bro. Raul Castro: Our Strength is Honduras’ Strength

Cuban News Agency July 3, 2007

Our Strength is Honduras’ Strength

“Our first message for the Honduran people is of solidarity and encouragement”, affirmed Cuban President Raul Castro during the extraordinary session of the Summit of the Rio Group held in Managua, Nicaragua last Monday.

During the meeting, important agreements were approved in favor of reinstating constitutionally elected President Manuel Zelaya as the legitimate representative of Honduras, after being brutally ousted in a coup perpetrated by the right wing military serving the country’s oligarchy.

The withdrawal of Latin American ambassadors from Honduras, the cutting of oil supplies, the closure of the Honduran border with other Central American nations, a surging wave of international condemnation, the suspension of economic agreements and bank credits with the country while the power remains in the hands of the de facto government, are just some of the measures agreed on by the heads of states that attended the Managua Summit.

These are valid accords in favor of truth and democracy on behalf of the member nations of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our Americas and the Rio Group.

Meanwhile, the UN General Assembly held a session condemning the coup […]

Obama Peace Prize Award Elicits Praise, Criticism

By Michael Bowman Washington

09 October 2009

Global reaction to U.S. President Barack Obama being awarded the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize ranges from hearty congratulations to expressions of disbelief and derision.

The Norwegian Nobel Committee recognized the president for his work to strengthen international diplomacy, citing in particular efforts to rid the world of nuclear weapons. The peace prize appears to have caught everyone, including Mr. Obama himself, by surprise.

At American College in Cairo, political scientist Saiid Sadek found Mr. Obama’s selection odd and undeserved. “There is no peace in Iraq, nor in Afghanistan. The Arab-Israeli conflict is still at a standstill. As usual, nothing happened. And Guantanamo Bay jail is still open. So what for is he getting that prize?,” he said

U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon described the peace prize as “great news”. “President Obama embodies the new spirit of dialogue and engagement on the world’s biggest problems: climate change, nuclear disarmament and a wide range of peace and security challenges,” he said.

Two other sitting U.S. presidents have become Nobel laureates: Woodrow Wilson and Theodore Roosevelt.

Bro. Harper RCMP appointee editorialized over T.A.S.E.R. comment

Globe and Mail March 26, 2009

Walking a mile in the wrong shoes Editorial

RCMP Commissioner William Elliott wants Canadians to “walk a mile in my shoes” – a Mountie’s brown boots – before RCMP Commissioner William Elliott judging the organization or its people in the fatal tasering of the Polish immigrant Robert Dziekanski at the Vancouver International Airport.

But the RCMP is not the victim here, and it will not regain Canadians’ confidence by acting like one. Mr. Elliott’s comment is egregious and insulting because he asks for his organization what he does not ask of it – that it walk a mile in the shoes of an unarmed immigrant who did not speak English or French, and who had been waiting for his mother for 10 hours. Never mind a mile.

The Mounties never took the first step. They began tasering Mr. Dziekanski, about whom they knew nothing, and never asked, within 30 seconds of approaching him.

Mr. Elliott asks for empathy, but why should Canadians ignore incompetence and unprofessionalism?

It is clear to nearly everyone in Canada except the RCMP that the tasering was unnecessary, brutal and a national embarrassment. […]

My solidarity with Bro. George Galloway, by Bro. Conrad Black

The Guardian Thursday 26 March 2009

Letter: My solidarity with George Galloway Conrad Black

George Galloway attacks the Canadian minister of immigration, Jason Kenney, for not allowing him into Canada and says his exclusion by such a “last-ditch dead-ender of Bushism” is “like being told to sit up straight by the Hunchback of Notre dame or lectured on due diligence by Conrad Black” (Comment, 21 March).

Given Mr Galloway’s well-known and often well-founded scepticism about official American sanctimony, I am disappointed he thinks the relentless persecution I have endured in that country in the last six years, 90% of which has already been debunked by its stacked court system, implies any likelihood of unethical behaviour by me. He should also be aware that inadequate due diligence was one of the few false allegations that did not figure among the many charges unsuccessfully made against me in the reckless and at times unlawful actions of the Chicago prosecutors. Despite this donkey kick, and his misrepresentation of the Iraq and Afghan wars, I do agree that Mr Galloway should be admitted to Canada whenever he wishes to come. I have written a column to that effect in the […]

Use Aborted Children to Make up Shortfall of Transplant Organs: Oxford Stem Cell Expert By Hilary White

LONDON – An Oxford University stem cell expert has urged the use of aborted children in organ transplants as a solution to the shortage of available organs. Sir Richard Gardner has called for a feasibility study on the possibility of obtaining organs from the bodies of aborted babies.

He said, “It is probably a more realistic technique in dealing with the shortage of kidney donors than others.”

The Daily Mail reports that pro-life and Christian groups have called the proposal “morally abhorrent,” and said it will result in abortions being timed to suit transplant patients.

Dr Peter Saunders, of the Christian Medical Fellowship, said the transplants would be immoral as every human being, even the unborn, deserved “protection, respect, wonder and empathy.”

Bro. Obama’s new spiritual advisor said to be a ‘team’ of five Pastors opposed to ‘social injustice’…

New York Times March 14, 2009

Without a Pastor of His Own, Obama Turns to Five By LAURIE GOODSTEIN

President Obama has been without a pastor or a home church ever since he cut his ties to the Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. in the heat of the presidential campaign. But he has quietly cultivated a handful of evangelical pastors for private prayer sessions on the telephone and for discussions on the role of religion in politics.

All are men, two of them white and three black — including the Rev. Otis Moss Jr., a graying lion of the civil rights movement. Two, the entrepreneurial dynamos Bishop T. D. Jakes and the Rev. Kirbyjon H. Caldwell, also served as occasional spiritual advisers to President George W. Bush. Another, the Rev. Jim Wallis, leans left on some issues, like military intervention and poverty programs, but opposes abortion.

None of these pastors are affiliated with the religious right, though several are quite conservative theologically. One of them, the Rev. Joel C. Hunter, the pastor of a conservative megachurch in Florida, was branded a turncoat by some leaders of the Christian right when he began to speak out on the […]

Pakistan Arrests Opposition Leader to Block Protests: Report

Bloomberg News March 15, 2009

Pakistan Arrests Opposition Leader to Block Protests By James Rupert and Farhan Sharif

Pakistani police detained former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, blockaded highways and cities and put army troops on alert to break up a planned protest tomorrow in Islamabad.

Police surrounded Sharif’s home in Lahore, put him under house arrest for three days and detained scores of other leaders of his Pakistan Muslim League, said party spokesman Pervez Rashid. The government blockaded central Lahore and Islamabad, tightening its crackdown on nationwide protests to demand the restoration of dismissed judges who are supported by Sharif.

President Asif Ali Zardari “may prevent us from protesting in Islamabad tomorrow, but we will simply re-organize and renew our protest in a few days,” said Rai Muhammad Salim Raza Kharal, one of a few Muslim League activists who managed to reach the main rally venue in Lahore. Zardari “will face a long period of protest now,” he said, shortly before police fired tear gas to disperse rock-throwing demonstrators nearby.

Zardari’s use of force to quell protest and growing dissent in his Pakistan Peoples Party, are “deepening his credibility deficit and leaving his government […]

CBC: Opposition questions Bro. Galloway ban, Jewish groups pleased

CBC News Friday, March 20, 2009

British MP barred from Canada Paragraph 2 and 3

Opposition questions ban

Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff, speaking to reporters after a speech in Winnipeg Friday, said while he’s no fan of Galloway, people can’t be banned from Canada for what they may say.

“If he is being barred on free speech grounds that is an outrage,” said Ignatieff. “He can come to Canada and talk rubbish all day long as far as I’m concerned.”

But Ignatieff said Canadian security officials may know something he doesn’t.

“If there is a security threat, that is another matter,” he said.

NDP immigration critic Olivia Chow said the Conservatives have a pattern of suppressing those who have contradictory views.

“The minister of immigration is becoming the minister of censorship,” Chow told Canadian Press. “We don’t have to agree with everything Mr. Galloway talks about.

“But, at bare minimum, they should be allowed to express their points of view so Canadians can make decisions themselves. This is pure censorship and it’s wrong.”

Jewish groups pleased

Jewish organizations B’nai Brith and the Canadian Jewish Congress applauded the decision.

“We applaud the government for its explicit recognition that […]
