I found your article after a request from my 12 year old daughter for research on the questions outlined here. She carried home a conversation from her Catholic School teacher regarding the subject of Catholic Men and the Masonic Craft. Our small rural town (home to a military base and state university) is historically and richly Catholic but is also home to a strong Masonic past (Cornerstones on buildings, Lodges, and Temples are prevalent) I am using your article, along with my prayers for the ability to be diplomatic, in preparing to approach her six grade teacher and defending the Faith when discussing the conflict you bring to light in this article. This is my daughter’s last year at this particular school so I don’t want to cause her any grief.
