Title: Red Terror (Spain)
Post by Freemasonry.Watch on Oct 7th, 2013 at 1:24am

"Execution" of the Sacred Heart by a Republican firing squad is a famous example of "an assault on the public presence of Catholicism".[1] The image was originally published in the London Daily Mail with a caption noting the "Spanish Reds' war on religion".[2]

Historian Vicente Carcel Orti asserts that anticlerical Freemasons played a large part in the anti-Catholic acts of the government since they held key government positions, including at least 183 deputies in the Cortes (the Spanish parliament), and thus were instrumental in the making of anti-Catholic laws.[14] As early as March 1933 Abilia Arroyo de Roman had declared at a rally in the Salamancan pueblo of Macotera that Spain was governed by Masonic lodges, intent on 'decatholicizing' Spain, while the Gaceta Regional blamed the Law of Congregations on 'an occult power' which had taken refuge in Spain 'in order to carry out its experiments'.

In my understanding, there is a fraction in masonry around the irregular masonry of the Grand Orient who organize and justify those political crimes. They play the role of the radicals while the regular masons play the role of conservative citizens and many blue lodge masons believe this. In the end, the aim is all the same.....

It's one of those distinctions without a difference. Grand Orient Freemasonry operates in Catholic Countries and Grand Lodge Freemasonry in Protestant ones.

The major protestant Churches in Europe are associated with their Crown's who are usually the head of those Churches, as well as the head or being historically associated with their Grand Lodges.

But it is only a generalization, most often put forth by Grand Lodge Freemasons. I have known a number of Grand Lodge Freemason who would be considered anti-clerical. Many are supposed Conservatives. You will find this type of Mason in the US Democratic Party and the Republican Party, but it is not a full-time vocation for them.

You are aware that Freemasonry operates in Cuba, recognized by US Anglo Grand Lodge Freemasonry? A US Freemasonry which has historic ties to the virolent anti-clericalism of Mexican Freemasonry?

Trotsky, a Freemason said Mexico was the closest to the Soviet Union, that's why he fled there I guess.

In freemasonry little is as it first appears.
