Hutchens' A Bridge to Light

Hi all.

Has anyone read this book? What is your opinion of it, is it worth spending money on? Does it give much insight into the Masonic degrees?

I also see there's a 2010 edition that reflects the Revised Standard Pike Ritual of 2000. Is anyone familiar with both this one and the earlier versions? How much difference is there?

Thanks.

It's a Scottish Rite SJ book. It is semi-official now in that it is given out or included in the degree package on receiving the 32nd. It more or less replaced Albert Pikes Moral's and Dogma as suggested or required reading. It is still occult as 33 degree system is based on kabbalistic visions  of someone. 22 paths plus 10 globes equals 32. 33rd connects upper and lower 'tree'. The tree of the knowledge  of good and evil forbidden to Adam in Garden of Eden by God. Before he and Eve thought aprons were a good idea.

It's somewhat unusual for an automated spam bot specializing in essays and autoparts to read and reply to forum posts isn't it? You'll have to create another nick to reply...
