No one sees and talks about these things, is it not evident enough?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>When Mrs May used the symbol this month, Twitter users immediately drew comparisons between May and Merkel and questioned the significance of the &#8220;code&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Politician Memet Killic, from Germany&#8217;s Green Party, wrote: &#8220;Merkel now has found a hand gesture competitor in Theresa May.&#8221;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1395\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1395\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/freemasonrywatch.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Theresa-May-602463-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/freemasonrywatch.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Theresa-May-602463-1-300x178.jpg\" alt=\"Theresa May\" width=\"300\" height=\"178\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1395\"><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1395\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Theresa May making the symbol diamond shape<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Garion Coyote took a further dig at Mrs May by replying: &#8220;Both can compete for the s***test hairstyle among heads of state.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>And journalist Tilo Jung compared her to Ms Merkel&#8217;s closest ally. He branded her the &#8220;British version of Thomas de Maiziere on crack&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>But, Ms Merkel, who has led the Christian Democratic Union party for 16 years, explained the reason she makes the unusual gesture in a 2013 interview, and denied there was anything sinister behind it.<\/p>\n<p>She told a German magazine: &#8220;There was always the question, what to do with your arms, and that&#8217;s how it came about.
