Proof of a vast liberal media conspiracy? <\/p>\n<p>Not at all, says Ezra Klein, the 24-year-old American Prospect blogging wunderkind who formed JournoList in February 2007. \u201cBasically,\u201d he says, \u201cit\u2019s just a list where journalists and policy wonks can discuss issues freely.\u201d But some of the journalists who participate in the online discussion say \u2014 off the record, of course \u2014 that it has been a great help in their work. <\/p>\n<p>On the record, The New Yorker\u2019s Jeffrey Toobin acknowledged that a Talk of the Town piece \u2014 he won\u2019t say which one \u2014 got its start in part via a conversation on JournoList.
