But it\u2019s just a schoolyard insult. Calling someone a pig \u2014 on the hierarchy of insults, I\u2019m going to give that maybe a three out of ten. Calling people a pig \u2014 it means you\u2019re fat, really.<\/p><p>\u201cWe use animal insults \u2014 calling someone a dog, or a rat. I suppose they are technically dehumanizing \u2014 I don\u2019t like it when people are called a louse, usually \u2014 but calling someone a pig isn\u2019t a devastation. Remember, this is the UK.
