Kentucky Print Shop Posts Controversial Sign

Oak Grove, KY-A Kentucky business is stirring up major controversy after a print shop owner posted a sign saying he won't produce anything promoting homosexuality or freemasonry.
Some people are doing a double take when they read the sign at Herald Embroidery.
“I have to say that I was shocked because not many people are our front with stuff like that about how they feel,” resident Vicky Polk said.
Herald Embroidery specializes in banners and custom apparel for the military, but not everyone is welcome there.
According to this sign, Herald's reserves the right to refuse to produce promotional products that promote ideas not in keeping with their conscience, including homosexuality.
"I have family, in my family have some that are homosexuals, and they are very intelligent nurses that serve and help others. That should be taken down. I won't buy, I won't go to that place ever," resident Lucy Arvelo said.
The store owner says his family is now receiving death threats. but he stands by the sign and says it speaks for itself.
"I don't go to that store to be honest but everybody has a right, can't take that freedom away from him. That's just like taking the freedom away from the people he doesn't want in there, saying you don't have the right to be gay or don't have the right to have a religion. You can't say that. That is their freedom and that's his freedom," Polk said.
The store is in a shopping center next to Chinese and Mexican restaurants where some patrons find the sign especially troubling.
"They are talking about differences. I’m Puerto Rican, it’s not right. So if you're going to treat somebody like that because of a different way or belief that's wrong. Again, we live in the United States of America. We shouldn't be treated like that," Arvelo said.
The sign also lists freemasonry, foul language and imagery, which promotes immodesty among promotional products it won't produce.
The business originally had a series of small stickers on the door, but the owner says he replaced them with this sign to clear up confusion
According to the website for Herald Embroidery, the business is pressing charges against two men who allegedly made phone calls threatening the owner and his family.
