Stephen Colbert said he is a Mason on tonight's show.
Does anybody know if this is true? I know he is a satirist, so this could be a joke; but I've heard this before. I always find it cool when I find out somebody is my Brother.

That's what I thought. I Googled it and only found Anti-Masonic conspiracy theorists' suspicions.

I'd love for it to be true, too. But like /u/Ottawanerd said, if he said it on the air on his show, it's probably not true. ;) Unless he is more open when he takes over Letterman's show, this is one of those things only time will tell.
We still have Shaq, though!
