Freemasonry update: the Grand Lodge of Congo reframes The Letter from the Continent

05/22/2014

In response to an article published in number 682 of this confidential publication under the title "...The little brothers give the lesson" , Jean-Dominique Okemba, Deputy Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Congo, publishes the following clarification:

La Lettre du Continent (No. 682) relayed a message from a so-called "Collective of Freemasons and Freemasons from both banks of the Congo River" (at the instigation of Mr. Mbu Ne Letang, voluntarily perjured individual, removed in his time from the staff of the Grand Lodge of Congo), relating to the police operation initiated by the Republic of Congo, intended to repress the perpetrators of heinous murders, repeated thefts, rapes and various crimes, on the one hand, and to expel those of these actors of foreign nationality, on the other hand.

The Grand Lodge of Congo is quoted in this message, which justifies this right of reply.

On the method, the Masons do not communicate among themselves in this way, noisy and without effects. They prefer fraternal meetings where social issues, whatever they may be, are analyzed in depth, and deliberations elaborated for the use of decision-makers, or direct actions in the city.

Basically, there is no “collective of Masons” established and functioning in three independent territories: France, the DRC and the Republic of Congo.

In a particular way, the Masons refrain from disturbing or encouraging any action likely to disturb the good established order. On this basis, no Mason can accept that the "Kulunas" and other criminal gangs are rampant. To tolerate this is perjury.

No Mason, who governs himself accordingly, can accept that the Congolese populations, who kindly welcome foreigners, allow themselves to be massacred by them, and remain passive in the face of the violent balkanization of certain city districts, or entire villages, without react, beyond simple protest. To do otherwise is to allow, in the long run, the confiscation of living space to their detriment.

The Grand Lodge of Congo is not in solidarity with this nebulous "collective" with an unknown composition and unacknowledged goals. The Grand Lodge of Congo invites all Masons to manifest themselves according to the usual method, and to accept that the Republic of Congo, like other countries governed by laws binding in their rigor on all, ensures its constitutional duty to protect its populations. »

For the Grand Lodge of Congo,

Jean Dominique Okemba
