Honestly? I feel sorry for these guys who probably did not chose to be there. But I am also extremely relieved that they were stopped and wiped out as their role was to completely encircle Novorussia and then mercilessly crush Resistance. The 79th Airmobile was the furthest advanced in the ‘Southern Cauldron’ battle, it’s remnants walked across the Russian border last week. It was a regular Ukraine Army Brigade listed on Wikipedia as being under ‘direct subordination’ to Land Forces Command.
